When a new face joins the east wing, I watch for three days. Asking with a smile on day three is my job, and today was day three.

The laundry room is the most honest place in this palace. No matter how much gets covered up above, the wash always comes out clean in the end.

Found an obsidian button at the foot of the archive stairs. What's strangest is that no one's come looking for a piece this fine.
