1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information to provide the Service: your email address when you sign in; the email address and profile identifier passed by the provider if you use social login (Google, Kakao, or LINE); records created while you play (choices, entered lines and actions, and game progress); data stored for the memory feature (a knowledge graph and summaries in embedding form); payment-related information when you make a purchase (handled by the payment provider, with card numbers not stored by us); the photo you upload when you use Selfie Together (stored temporarily for generation); and access logs generated automatically while you use the Service.
For users who are not signed in, progress and settings are stored in the browser's localStorage, not on our servers.
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
Collected information is used only for the following purposes: account verification and keeping you signed in, saving and resuming your play progress, providing the designed memory and callback features, processing payments and refunds for paid services and star fragments, generating and safety-reviewing Selfie Together images, error response and quality improvement, and compliance with legal obligations.
3. Retention and Deletion
Personal information is deleted without delay once the purpose of collection is fulfilled. If you request account deletion, we delete your information without delay, except where retention is required by law.
Payment and transaction records that laws such as the e-commerce act require us to keep for a set period are kept for the period prescribed by that law and then destroyed. Original photos you upload for Selfie Together are deleted automatically once generation is complete.
4. Processing by Third Parties
We entrust processing to the following providers to operate the Service: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (web hosting), OpenAI (image generation), Google (a language model for story generation), and payment providers (payment processing, such as Stripe, Toss Payments, and PortOne).
These providers may not use the data for any purpose other than the entrusted work, and we manage them by contract so that personal information is handled safely.
5. Overseas Transfer
The servers of the providers above may be located outside Korea (for example, in the United States). In that case, the transferred items are your email address, play records, and the input data used for story and image generation; the purpose of transfer is providing the Service; and the retention period lasts until the entrustment contract ends or you request deletion.
6. Processing of Social Login Information
When you sign in with a Google, Kakao, or LINE account, that provider passes to us limited information, such as your email address and a profile identifier, within the scope you consented to. We use this information only to verify your account and keep you signed in, and each provider's own policy also applies to its processing of your personal information.
7. Processing of Payment Information
Paid transactions are processed through payment providers. Sensitive payment method information, such as card numbers, is handled directly by the payment providers and is not stored by us; we keep only the minimum transaction information needed for payment results, subscription status, and refund processing.
8. Processing of Selfie Together Images
In the Selfie Together feature, a photo you upload is processed only to generate a two-shot image and is stored only temporarily; the original photo is deleted automatically once generation is complete. We do not use the original photos you upload to train artificial intelligence models.
For safety, uploads and generated output may be subject to automated and manual moderation. Specific rules on safety and abuse prevention for Selfie Together are set out in the Selfie Together Safety Policy.
9. AI Memory Feature and Your Data
Guaranteed memory is a core value of the Service. For this, your play records are stored as a relationship ledger, a knowledge graph, and embeddings for semantic search, and are used for recollection and callbacks in later play. This data exists for your story experience, and when you delete your account, the related data is deleted as well.
10. Your Rights
You may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of, suspension of processing of, or portability of your personal information. Send requests by email to hi@isekaiplay.com, and we will inform you of the result without delay.
11. Children's Personal Information
The Service is intended for adults, and some features, such as Selfie Together, are available only to adults. We do not knowingly collect the personal information of children under 14, and if we learn that a child's information has been collected, we delete it without delay.
12. Cookies and localStorage
The Service uses minimal cookies, such as your language setting, and localStorage to save progress when you are not signed in. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings; deleting them may remove saved progress.
We also use Google Analytics (Google LLC) and Vercel Analytics (Vercel Inc.) to collect visit statistics for service improvement. These tools collect usage records such as pages visited and browser type; we do not use them for advertising. If you prefer not to be measured, you can use your browser's tracking protection or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

14. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will announce it on the Service screen before it takes effect. The changed policy applies from the effective date stated in the announcement.
