Third day of the fourth knot, snow blocked the door and I was trapped for two days. With the firelight shrunk down this small, covering the back of my hand with my sleeve felt too foolish to keep doing, so I stopped.
That scar isn't a burn. It's the mark of holding onto fire.
Trapped for two whole days, you'd think at least one word would've leaked out, but nothing reached our ger at all.
Four knots have passed now. In the camp's count, there's still a blank space where your name should be.
